A Facebook status posted Oct. 8 claiming that 97 percent of Filipinos distrust Vice President Leni Robredo is false.
The text post, published by a Facebook user, said:
Leniâs too busy pretending to be the VP & pretending to be BANALâs wife, she forgot 97% of Filipinos donât trust her. [cow emoji][poop emoji]
Pulse Asiaâs survey for September 2019 shows 25 percent of Filipinos have little to no trust in her, a one-point drop from the previous quarter, and 46 percent trust Robredo, a six-point decline.
No trust surveys have shown that nine in 10 Filipinos distrusted Robredo ever since she assumed office.
Robredo was proclaimed winner of the 2016 Vice Presidential elections but the results are being contested by former senator Ferdinand âBongbongâ Marcos Jr.
Robredo has debunked claims about her supposed affair with Rep. Jorge âBoletâ Banal (Quezon City, 3rd District).
The post was also shared by Duterte Today, a Facebook page with almost a million followers. (BM)
